30th Anniversary of the Salamanca Statement and Framework for Action on Inclusion in education

CIRAD is pleased to share a new brief note on the Salamanca Statement and Framework for Action on Special Needs Education, which established the basic principles of inclusion at school and the main policy changes needed to ensure access and accompaniment of all children, in particular those having special educational needs.

This note reminds us of the importance and challenge that involves making our universities more inclusive, while reviewing the main outputs of the vast intercontinental program carried out by IFCU with such a goal, and informing of the Federation’s will to keep on strengthening the network created out of it around the International Observatory Capacitas-IFCU on disability and inclusion in higher education, led by the experts from the Campus Capacitas at the Catholic University of Valencia, Spain.

The Note is available here in ENGLISH and in SPANISH.
