III International Congress on Poverty and Hunger: Education and Technology in the context of the pandemic
The Catholic University of Valencia (UCV) is organising the 3rd International Congress “Poverty and Hunger: Education and Technology in the context of the pandemic” on 9 and 10 November 2021, both in person and online.
Speakers will analyse how education and technology can contribute to the eradication of poverty and hunger, as well as the conditions for doing so in the current pandemic situation.
The Congress is part of a permanent line of research and transmission to society of the Chair of Theology of Charity “Santo Tomás de Villanueva”, promoted by the UCV. The Chair denounces and studies the problems related to poverty and hunger in all their dimensions, together with recognized experts and institutions, in line with the magisterium of Pope Francis and the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and Social Sciences, with the support of its Chancellor D. Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo.
