PLURIEL International Congress : “Islam and Belonging” – June 2018, Rome
PLURIEL is the University Platform for Research on Islam in Europe and Lebanon, a platform initiated by the Federation of European Catholic Universities and Lebanon (FUCE), and coordinated by the Université Catholique de Lyon (UCLy).
It promotes collaboration between researchers in European and Middle Eastern universities, and enables the exchange of knowledge and different methods of academic approaches. It also aims to strengthen the interaction between academics and societal actors, particularly at the level of companies and possibly public decision-makers.
The online Platform is an information platform in terms of publications and events (congresses, symposiums, study days, international conferences) and training.
IFCU and PLURIEL Editorial Committee are pleased to announce the program of its second international congress, which will take place at the Pontificia Università Gregoriana (Rome) from 26 to 28 June 2018.
The theme of the conference “Islam and Belonging” will be approached according to three axes: community(ies), territory(ies) and citizenship.
