Council of Europe – Call for candidates joining the Expert Council on NGO law

The International Federation of Catholic Universities has a consultative status at the Council of Europe, through the Conference of INGOs. The work of INGOs within the Conference has to respect the principle of independence, and has to comply with international standards. In order to better articulate NGO law and the Council of Europe norms, the Conference of INGOs has created the Expert Council on NGO law.

The Conference is inviting candidates to apply to serve as Members of the Expert Council on NGO Law for a 3 years mandate, from July 2018 to July 2021.

The role of the Members is to examine national legislation related to NGOs and its implementation, and to promote the respect of the Council of Europe norms.
